I think the AR mag release is often overlooked in regards to enhancing its design and function. Many people are hung up on using the outdated “mil-spec” design, or worse, the largely commercialized colorful eye-candy components currently offered for the AR platform. I took a chance and purchased this magazine release after trying it on one of our department rifles. At first, I thought it was too big, but it really isn’t. I have big hands, so it really fits me perfectly. The aggressive design makes locating the center position easily every time. It is slightly extended outward which is nice also. I really appreciate the design and feel of this mag release. Very solid and perfect fit.
