Introducing the Henry Repeating Arms Big Boy Carbine .357 Mag/ 38 Special lever action rifle with 16.5" barrel, a modern carry-over of the “Trapper” classics of the past. It combines all the features of our legendary Big Boy rifle with the quick handling of a shorter, lighter carbine barrel length, losing almost a pound in barrel weight. It’s the ideal brush gun for tight spaces, but don’t let its compact size fool you. The shorter barrel gives up nothing in accuracy to the regular Big Boy. And like our classic Big Boy the attention to detail in the design features great Western styling including a large loop lever that makes holding this rifle as thrilling as it is to shoot.

This Henry Repeating Arms Silver Deluxe Engraved 44-40 version uses a brass frame, like our first Original, but we’ve used electroless nickel plating on the frame, buttplate, shell carrier, and magazine cartridge follower. The rifle is then finished off with a stunning engraving that covers 90% of the receiver surface. When Henry Repeating Arms brought out their first Original Henry rifle as an all-American-made re-introduction of Benjamin Tyler Henry’s classic brass-framed 1860 lever action design, the reception was so positive that we got right to work on an “iron-framed” version, and that in turn led us to two nicely engraved special editions as limited-run One-Of-1,000 offerings, both in brass frames.
